I'm glad you reuploaded it here, Sanguine 1 definitely deserves a look. Besides the slightly clunky movement which is something you adapt to eventually, the atmosphere is great, it's challenging but fair, the story even if simple makes you want to see more of this universe and the characters you created, it got me intrigued to know more about the Eleanor, the man in the Underworld, Jidaul and his rivalry with the Leech Lord.

It's emulated perfectly on the NG flash player and fits perfectly in fullscreen when using it, which is something I would have loved when playing Sanguine 2 on this flash emulator.

Certain moves that were removed in Sanguine 2 are still fun: hanging between two walls to drop on an enemy, swinging on chains is pretty satisfying, slicing you enemy's throat to execute them faster than draining their blood (though I understand why you removed this move since draining an enemy's blood does the same thing even if a bit slower).

In conclusion it's a really fun game that mixes stealth and platforming with a dark atmosphere. I still play it from times to times along side the second game. You have a lot of great ideas Ray and I hope you can follow your dream of making video games. Peace.
